This review will cover the eufy RoboVac 11s MAX.
The BoostIQ™ Technology increases suction power if the vacuum detects more debris. This is great for thicker carpets and floors that tend to sprout cereal spills.
It’s a nice looking machine that is protected on top by a piece of anti-scratch tempered glass. It has a low profile and runs fairly quietly. It’s about as loud as your microwave. It definitely isn’t as loud as the blender or your heavy duty vacuum.
Features of the eufy RoboVac 11S MAX
Let’s take a closer look at what this robotic vacuum has to offer.
Dimensions: 12.8 x 12.8 x 2.85 inches.
The 11s Max has a very low profile. It’s one of the lowest on the market. The lowest height it can pass under is 2.87 inches/73 millimeters.
Dustbin Capacity: 6 Liters
This is a hefty dustbin. There are some dustbins out there that fill up way too soon. The 11s Max comes through here with a very capable dustbin.
The filter is a Unibody filter. Eufy used to ship the 11s Max with a standard HEPA filter but the complaints about the hassle and expense of using HEPA filters were heard loud and clear.
An extra Unibody filter is included with your purchase.
Brushes: One roller brush. Two edge brushes.
The brushes are pretty standard fare here. It’s a good thing the Pa power has its back. Eufy does include an extra set of side brushes and a cleaning tool to keep everything running smoothly.
Charging: Charging Station (HomeBase™) or AC Adaptor
The charging station for the 11s MAX needs about three feet on each side and six feet in front of it for the vacuum to be able to find its way home. This may seem a little long, but enterprising individuals realized that it fits nicely under a sideboard table. The charging station isn’t much taller than the vacuum itself.
Battery: 2600mAh Lithium-ion
The 2600mAh battery explains the minimal run times. It does return to its charging station automatically when the battery runs low. It takes five to six hours to recharge.
Power: Maximum suction capability is 2000Pa.
There’s plenty of power here to pick up a lot of debris. You can get the finer grit and sand that gets in the crevasses of old wooden floors with this vacuum.

Runtime: 60 to 100 Minutes
The variation in the run time is based on whether or not the BoostIQ™ mode is being used. Using BoostIQ on the carpet uses more battery life and the run time is diminished to sixty minutes.
If you’re pushing the maximum suction on a medium carpet pile, you can expect the 11s Max to run about 40 minutes.
Hardwood floors are easier to clean so the run time is much longer at one hundred minutes.
It should be noted that BoostIQ™ is the default mode. The fan icon on the vacuum will change the suction power.
Max is the strongest suction power. This is only necessary for spot cleaning and will run down the battery quickly.
Sensors: Bumpers/LIDAR (Infrared)
The RoboVac 11S has 10 infrared sensors to navigate the room. This means it doesn’t do well on dark floors. There are soft bumpers to help the vacuum find its way around furniture legs and other obstacles. It will get stuck around areas that are lower than 2.87 inches.
There are no boundary barriers. You can set some up with dark colored fabric or tape and the RoboVac’s cliff sensors will prevent the machine from moving over that line.
Anti-Drop Sensor: Yes
There are three cliff sensors on the eufy 11s MAX.
Control Interface: Remote Control
The eufy 11S MAX has no voice command or Wi-Fi features. The remote control will do everything you need the machine to do and there are options for setting some controls manually.
Cleaning modes are: Automatic Mode, Edge Clean, Spot Clean and Quick Clean.
Quick Clean is great for small rooms. The vacuum runs for 30 minutes and then returns to HomeBase.
Spot Cleaning sends the vacuum into a spiral around a specific area that needs some extra attention.
Edge Clean follows along the first wall it detects.
Scheduled Cleaning follows one specific time of day. The scheduling function will need to be manually reset to change to a new time.
The remote control takes two AAA batteries and eufy includes them with the shipment.
Warranty: One year limited warranty.

Feedback on the 11S MAX Robot Vacuum
What Consumers Like
Customers rave that this is a hard working machine. It will take care of cereal, pet hair and even cat litter without any fuss. They also love how quiet it is and how it fits under just about every piece of furniture in the home.
Drawbacks
Batteries are often the first thing to go on robotic vacuums. They’re asked to carry a heavy load by acting like a computer and a vacuum without being plugged into a house current.
This Powerextra 14.4v 2800mAh Replacement Battery is compatible with the 11s Max and is more powerful and efficient.
If you are concerned about the vacuum running on dark floors, use the “bandage” trick: a bandage with a white pad under the cliff sensors to fool the vacuum. Just don’t use this trick if running the vacuum on a second floor. The cliff sensors will no longer function.
Our Thoughts
We agree with the customers who say this is a workhorse. If you’re looking for a solid, quiet machine and don’t mind that it isn’t a smart appliance, the eufy 11s Max is an affordable and reliable choice.
